13.       Who is responsible for clearing walkways and stairways during inclement weather?

During a severe snow storm, for example, driveways and cement sidewalks (which are common areas) are plowed and cleaned under contract with our landscaping company. Front stairs and decks of buildings 1, 2, 3 and 4 will be maintained by the association via the property management company.  The back porches and decks are the responsibility of the individual home owners. (Please note that de-icing material is located in barrels behind the garbage enclosures opposite units 108, 211 and 308.)

However, occupants of units should be proactive in attending to their own front entrances, stairs and decks as well as the sidewalk immediately in front of their stairways since it may not be possible for the property management company vehicles to immediately access the property until the City of Lake Oswego makes the roads passable.
